As a second generation Korean-American, vacation time can be stressful. I’m an American, yet my parents are first generation Koreans, on top of that I’m a newly wed whose wife and mother and law are coming as well. There always is dissonance when deciding where our annual family vacation will be, and the pressure is immense because it is our only time off and that time is precious. I chose OK Tours because they are a Korean company who can accommodate our parents and help them understand the Jasper-Banff tour better than my wife and I can ever explain. We lacked nothing in terms of accommodations and the doubt of a tour guide as “cheating” quickly left our minds as the detailed accommodations and value OK tours was able to provide was something we can never arrange ourselves. For over 10 years I had to plan, drive, and navigate all vacations. Vacations did not feel like vacations for me. For the first time in my life I let someone else take the wheel and I never had a more enjoyable and restful experience. Being driven to all the key points in the tour, napping between spots, having someone check in and out, and having our food ready upon arrival with the tab already taken care of was the #1 comfort for me as the point man my whole family turns to. The tour has access to things at the parks you can’t access going independently and the waiting times are cut drastically as you never have to fight for parking. It was truly the first time in my life I had a “vacation”. All because tour guide Kim was my point man and OK tours staff support. I would 100% recommend OK tours for your family vacation and 110% endorse tour guide Kim Yoonhae (김윤회) and driver Lee ByungChang (이병창) It would be worth adjusting your dates to catch his tour. It was a rare time I have to say this trip was money and time well spent.

제 인생 첫 패키지 여행이자 첫 캐나다 여행이었는데 Jay 가이드님을 만난 덕에 좋은 시작을 한 것 같아서 너무너무 만족했던 선택이었다고 생각합니다. 편안한 분위기를 만들어 주시고 설명해 주실 때는 또 열정적으로 설명해 주셔서 에너지의 총량(?)을 지킬 수 있던 것 같습니다. ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 인원이 적어서 버스가 아니라 7인승 승합차를 타고 이동했는데, 큰 버스에서 가이드님의 형식적인 설명을 듣고 정해진 스케줄대로 따라가는 딱딱한 패키지가 아니라 마치 여행에서 만나서 동행하게 된 사람들처럼 유연하고 재미있는 분위기에서 여행하게 되어서 너무 운이 좋았다고 생각됩니다. ?? 캐나다에서 워홀을 시작하기 전에 여행을 먼저 하게 된 건데 그 말을 듣고 Jay 가이드님이 진심으로 응원해 주시고 도움이 되는 조언들을 많이 해 주셔서 여행 정보들은 물론이고 캐나다 생활의 꿀팁들도 얻어가게 된 최고의 패키지 + 가이드님이라고 생각합니다. ??

사실은, 10년전 여름에도 ok여행사를 통해 로키. 휘슬러. 미서부여행 투어를 했었습니다. 이미 ok여행사는 저에게 좋은 인상이 남아있었기 때문에 이번에도 의심없이 믿고 ok여행사를 선택했고, 그 감사함으로 이렇게 후기까지 올립니다.~^^ 저희 선택의 후회나 아쉬움없이 안전운행을 해주신 친철한 캡틴님과 일정에도 없는 숨은 명소까지 데려가 깨알같은 입담과 적절한 텐션과귀에 쏙쏙들어오는 설명들..저희 가족들에게 추억을 만들어주신 앤드류가이드님께 다시한번 감사드립니다. 무심코 지나칠 수 있는 엘크사슴, 횐꼬리사슴, 작은블랙베어까지~ 짜여진 각본처럼 가이드님의 설명이 끝나자마자 등장한 주인공들 ~ 신기할 따름이었습니다. **숙소** 첫째. 셋째날은 샐론암에 윚디한 숙소 comfort inn & suite로 욕실도 넓고 실내수영장과 작은 스파가 있습니다. 수영복을 준비 못해서 이용하지 못한 아쉬움이 있습니다. ㅜㅜ 대신 저는 남편과 함께 호텔 주위에 호수를 산책했습니다. 겨울에 오시는분들 수영복 꼭꼭 챙겨오세요. 다만, 조식이 시리얼이나 빵종류밖에 없어 약간 부족한 느낌이 있습니다. 둘째날은 캐스캐이드마운트을 배경으로 밴프다운타운에 위치한 the elk & avenue hotel였습니다. 특히 메트릭스 쿠션감이 좋아 저는 꿀잠 잤습니다.~^^ **밀플랜** 텍스까지 고려하면 가성비좋은 식사였고, 베제테리언이시라면 비프를 샐몬으로 바꿀수도 있고 정해진 메뉴가 아닌 몇가지안에 선택할 수도 있어 좋습니다. ****겨울. 여름 로키 여행도 다 좋습니다. 그래도 오신다면 여름을 추천드립니다.. 단, ok여행사를 통해서..~^^
