Moraine Lake

Moraine Lake is a glacially fed lake in Banff National Park, 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) outside the hamlet of Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada. It is situated in the Valley of the Ten Peaks, at an elevation of approximately 1,884 metres (6,181 ft). The lake has a surface area of 50 hectares (120 acres). When it is full, it reflects a distinctive shade of azure blue. The unique colour is due to the refraction of light off the rock flour deposited in the lake on a continual basis by surrounding glaciers.

Open Period: From 9:00 AM on Monday, June 1, 2026, to 8:00 PM on Monday, October 12, 2026. Tour availability may be affected by weather conditions or local circumstances.
The Canada Strong Pass does not apply to Moraine Lake. Park entrance fees are remitted to Parks Canada.

저는 여행 오기전에 밴쿠버에서 문제가 생겨 밤을 새며 정신없고 좋지 않은 상태로 여행을 시작했습니다 저는 혼자 여행 왔는대 걱정과 달리 분위기도 정말 좋고 가이드님 설명도 알찼습니다. 우선 대부분 가족분들이 여행오신게 대부분이세요 가족 여행다니면서 혼자 여행하고 싶다 이랬었는대 막상 혼자 와보니 저희 가족이 그립더군요ㅎㅎ 캐나다에서 어학연수를 하고 한국으로 돌아가기 전 마지막 여행으로 록키를 온거였습니다. 다들 주변에서 록키는 꼭 가봐야할 여행지라고 하더라구요! 얼마나 굉장하고 좋으면 사람들이 극찬할까 하고 여행을 찾았습니다. 주변에서 차를 렌트해서 가는 친구들도 많았지만 정해진 시간내애 알찬게 다니는건 패키지 투어만한게 없는거 같더라구요ㅎㅎ 저는 다른 나라도 패키지 투어로 많이 갔다와봤는데 우선 오케이 투어가 가장 곳곳 설명도 잘해주시고 정말 모를 수 있을법한 것도 다 알고계시고 설명해주셔서 놀랐습니다! 록키에 얼마나 많은 산이 있는지 그 산 하나하나 이름 얘기해주시고 높이부터 각 특징들 설명해주시는걸 보고 감탄을 했습니다. 다른 여행에서는 가이드분이 모른다고 하신분들도 많았는대 사소한거 하나까지도 알려주시는거보고 ’와 이런분이 가이드 하시는구나‘ 싶었어요.. 수목상단경계선부터 왜 Rockys라 부르는지 등등.. 많은걸 배우고 가는거 같습니다! 식사 밀 플랜도 걱정과 달리 맛있었고 꼭 여행 일정 관한거 말고 기념품이라던지 많은것들도 추천해주시고 알려주셨어요 한국 돌아가서 부모님이 여쭤보면 정말 잘 대답 할 수 있을거 같아요ㅎㅎ 시작은 안좋았지만 여행 자체만으로는 최고였던거 같습니다! 날씨의 운도 따라주어 잘 보이지 않는다는 산 꼭대기도 보고 전체적인 여행이 만족을 넘어선 최고의 여행이 된거 같아요! 같이 투어 오신분들이 혼자라고 많이 챙겨주시고 사진도 많이 찍어주시고 부족한개 하나 없었어요 해발이 높아서 그런지 산맥 중앙에 있어서 그런지 어딜 봐도 풍경이 그림처럼 이쁘더라구요 여행 정보도 자세히 알려주시고 일정에 없던 보너스 투어도 가고 정말 알찬 여행이었던거 같습니다! 록키 자체가 위치가 먼 곳이기에 장시간 버스 타는건 예상하셔야 합니다. 어떤 투어든 그건 똑같은거에요 기사님도 정말 친절하시고 좋았습니다. 저는 8월에 돌아가면 다시 학교로 돌아갈 준비도 해야하고 바쁜 일정이 예정되어 있어서 저에게는 어쩌면 마지막 휴식 일정이라고도 볼 수 있는 여행인대요. 힐링을 정말 많이 했고 이런 좋은 풍경, 여행을 저만 온다는게 너무 아쉬웠습니다. 어학연수랑 여행을 부모님이 도와주셨어서 나중에 돈 많이 벌어서 제 동생이랑 부모님 모시고 다시 록키 여행 오고 싶습니다! 그때도 날씨 좋고 좋은 가이드님 만났으면 좋겠어요 ㅎㅎ 꽉차고 알찬 여행 감사합니다!

여름방학 최고의 선택! 3박 4일 캐나다 록키 여행 (앤드류 가이드님 & 잭 기사님) 여름방학이 시작되자마자 우리 가족(8살, 10살 아이들)은 캐나다 록키로 3박 4일간의 가족 여행을 떠났습니다. 여행사 선택은 고민할 필요도 없이 17년 전 대학생 시절, 봄의 록키를 여행하며 너무 좋은 기억을 남겨준 오케이투어를 믿고 다시 선택했습니다. 하지만 이번 여행이 기대 그 이상이었던 이유는 단연 앤드류 가이드님 덕분이었습니다. 앤드류 가이드님은 단순한 안내를 넘어, 여행 전체의 분위기를 이끌고, 록키의 매력을 200% 느끼게 해주신 진짜 주인공이셨습니다. 풍부한 지식은 물론이고, 유머와 위트, 상황에 맞는 센스 있는 멘트들까지—아이들도, 어른들도 모두 집중하며 즐길 수 있었습니다. 지루할 틈이 없었고, 날씨까지 좋아서 가이드님의 설명과 함께 보는 풍경 하나하나가 감동 그 자체였습니다 저는 이번 여행에서 예전의 감동을 다시 느끼고 싶었고, 가족에게 그 감정을 전하고 싶었는데, 가이드님의 설명을 들으며 우리 아이들도 록키의 웅장함과 아름다움에 푹 빠졌습니다. 마치 자연 다큐멘터리 속에 들어온 듯한 느낌이었습니다 또한 운전해주신 잭 기사님 덕분에 긴 이동 거리도 피곤하지 않게, 항상 안전하게 이동할 수 있었습니다. 여행 전반에 걸쳐 든든하게 서포트해주셔서 감사합니다. 무엇보다 감사한 건, 이 멋진 여행을 단순한 관광이 아니라 ‘경험’으로 만들어주신 앤드류 가이드님!! 이런 분과 함께할 수 있었기에 가족 모두가 더 깊이, 더 진심으로 록키를 느낄 수 있었습니다. 정말 감사드립니다. 우리 가족의 여름방학은 이번 여행 덕분에 평생 기억에 남을 최고의 시간이 되었습니다.
