Notice for guests hesitant about upcoming Rocky Mountain trips due to wildfires

Hello from OK TOUR,
We are writing to inform you of recent developments concerning the Rocky Mountain tour routes due to ongoing wildfires in Jasper National Park.
Currently, there are no fire or smoke risks impacting the Rocky Mountain tour routes(please find the latest updates via the links provided below for your reference).
OK Tour is closely monitoring the situation with real-time updates from local hotels and tourist sites. Our tour guides are actively reporting local conditions, ensuring that our travel routes remain safe and unaffected by wildfires.
Parks Canada will lift road restrictions on the Icefields Parkway (Highway 93) from Saskatchewan River Crossing to the Athabasca Glacier area. Additionally, the Columbia Icefield Tour, which was temporarily closed due to the wildfires, will resume starting August 9.
We are adjusting our tour itinerary as following:
Accommodation Change:
Accommodation in Valemount has been changed to a hotel near Salmon Arm, and Jasper area tours will be replaced with alternative attractions.
Other key areas such as Banff, Yoho National Park, Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, Peyto Lake, and Emerald Lake are mostly proceeding as planned.
