3박 4일의 반프(Banff) 여행 Catherine가이드와 함께 죽기 전에 꼭 가봐야 할 명소 중 하나라는 반프(Banff)! 초등학교 때 과외 친구들과 함께 이 멋진 여행을 떠났어요. 물론 다들 가족 사정이 있어 못 온 친구들도 있었지만, 저는 몇 달 전 발목 수술을 했음에도 지팡이를 짚고 용감하게 참가했답니다. 같은 여행 버스 분들의 배려로 맨 앞자리에 앉아 편안하게 여행할 수 있었어요. 이 자리를 빌려 그분들께 감사의 인사를 전하고 싶어요! Catherine 가이드는 아름다운 목소리와 해박한 지식으로 우리를 즐겁게 해주셨는데요, 지루할 뻔한 버스 여행이 그녀 덕분에 마치 고급 콘서트를 즐기는 듯한 기분이었어요. 고급진 음악 선곡으로 (보첼리부터 임영웅씨까지) 우리 여행을 더 풍성하게 채워주신 Catherine 씨, 정말 최고였어요! 여행 중 비가 와서 조금 걱정했는데, 버스만 내리면 마법처럼 날씨가 맑아지더라고요! 덕분에 8월에 첫눈도 경험할 수 있었죠. 특히 Lake Louise와 Moraine Lake의 에메랄드빛 호수는 정말 잊지 못할 장관이었어요. 탄성이 절로 나오는 아름다움에 행복한 순간이었답니다. 아, 그리고 빙하 위에서의 설성차 경험! 지팡이를 짚고 빙하 위에 내려섰을 때, 마치 시간 여행을 하는 듯한 설레는 느낌이 아직도 가슴 벅차요. 이제는 영원히 경험하기 어려운 소중한 순간이 될 것 같아요. 다만, 사진 속 제 흰머리가 염색이 잘 안 돼서 대머리처럼 보이는 것만 빼면 정말 완벽한 여행이었답니다! 다음 번 여행을 계획하신다면, 흰머리 염색부터 하고 떠나시길 강력 추천드려요. 그리고 꼭 Catherine씨가 가이드인지 확인하고 가세요! 행복한 여행을 만들어 주셔서 감사합니다!
